Dear Diary, We have created a weapon, a nuclear one that is. Though I do not know the exact details, between the US and the USSR, we have around 60,000 nuclear weapons at hand and we are afraid to use them against each other. Both of us have a clear understanding of how much damage these weapons can do. We have started using small third-world countries to fight our battles, and so has the United States, which is beginning to be known as the Cold War. Those countries do not seem to be enjoying being "used as pawns" much and have began to fight against us. Some choose to remain neutral, while others have been trying to manipulate the US against us. All this drama that's been going on has been getting to my head! My, it really is not good for the children either, and I haven't spoken to my husband in a few days. I'm glad this week is almost over, I deserve a break. Until Tomorrow, Anna ♡

Dear Diary, Since I am suddenly so busy all the time, I really do not have time to write. Here is a letter from a pen-pall of mine in China. She is also a mother of two boys, which is partly why we're such good friends! Dear Anna, Our "women's liberation" is just as limited as yours. Although, we did get the Marriage Law passed, which allows women free choice of marriage, easier divorce, end of concubine and child marriage. This law is wonderful because now my 12 year old niece does not have to be married off to that retched man, who is much to old for her. It also includes equal property rights for women. The Chinese Communist Party is acting so well against the opposition of pro-female change, I could not be more proud! Women are getting more jobs day after day. Dear Diary, The Terror has begun. The USSR has fallen to a state of paranoia! Many of our fellow citizen's are being sentenced to Gulags, harsh labor camps, because they are thought to be trying to restore capitalism! How am I supposed to know who to trust, who should I believe?! Men are being shot on the streets, almost one million people already! And it's not just Party members who are being shot, ordinary people are too. Just last night, a dear friend of ours, Tim, was shot but a secret police member after the accused him of being a secret capitalist. They didn't even give the man a second to explain himself. One second he was alive, the other he was dead. Oh, I don't want to think about it anymore! The length people will go to get people to agree with them is outrageous. After male communists complaints and several citizens writing in to their government, Joseph Stalin abolishes Zhenotdel, a women's department in Russian government. We could not get Comrade Stalin to comment on the issue himself, but a communist party insider tells us, "Zhenotdel was a waste of time and money, women don't need to be in government. Dear Diary, The USSR Communist Party has set up Zhenotdel, the Women's Department in government, that is pushing a feminist agenda! Oh, I knew the day would come. Our party has also developed "women's liberation" which deems women full, legal and political equality, what a time to be alive! This new women's liberation enables women legal divorce, abortion, pregnancy leave and the ability to work for money. My husband will be so pleased when he comes home to hear the news. My mother would have been so happy if she was still alive, she always knew this day would come and I have not given up since. My life will be changing drastically from this point forward. Goodbye housework, hello job! The extra money will be good for our children's future as well. Dear Diary, Today us Russians have rebelled against their country, deeming us free! Tomorrow we have a new leader named Joseph Stalin because Tsar Nicholas II had been forced to step down from the throne. The Bolsheviks have just seized power, lead by Vladimir Ulyanor, who act on behalf of the Soviets. This war has regimented our economy, suppressed nationalist rebellions, and committed countless aristocracies, but it was all worth it, for now we shall lead better lives. This war has even been good for the those lower class men,  who have been integrated into the Red Army and the local governments. Our government has turned so friendly, and it's only day 1. Communism will be good for our country, and I personally believe ever country would benefit from it! As a mother of two messy, energetic, but sweet boys, I believe communism will help us women lead easier lives in our households. We shall be treated better, and even offered jobs in the workforce, to earn money! Oh how pleased
